THE SITUATION

A full business and brand pivot

A full business and brand pivot

Justin Cross had a working business and a site for it. His justincross.com was "Sales Team Mastery" — an offer he was stepping away from.

He was pivoting into "done-for-you media placement." New brand, new offer, new audience.

The existing site wasn't just outdated. It was actively sending the wrong signal to anyone who looked him up.

He also had ten-plus years of results that nobody outside his immediate circle knew about.

Justin wanted to keep the existing design but just clean up the brand palette to make it feel more "energetic." He also wanted the new site to be on Replit, where he built his previous site. This wasn't a typical design & develop project. This was a full digital strategy and lead generation funnel.

This wasn't a typical design & develop project. This was a full digital strategy and lead generation funnel.

Big Tex Gym has been an Austin institution since 2015. Rob and Esther built something real, a place where pro-level powerlifters, bodybuilders and other athletes and first-time members train side by side, and nobody makes you feel like you don't belong.

Their website hadn't kept up. Another agency built it over a decade ago and owned the DNS. Every update was a support ticket and a wait. Time-sensitive events couldn't go live on short notice. The design was stuck in 2015: overlapping images, a sticky testimonial widget that followed you across every page and blocked content, too many nav links to count.

Then their YouTube channel: years of gym culture, events, and training content got banned without warning. No appeal. No explanation. Gone. They didn't own their platform. They didn't own their narrative. That had to change.

WHAT WE DID

Built a full lead generation architecture for the new brand

Four pages. One connected system. Built to run while he's on a podcast.

We built a complete lead generation infrastructure within the platform he was already comfortable with, Replit, so he could own and make updates to his site as his brand evolved. We safely archived the old site within Replit so he didn't lose all that valuable content.

The build: An authority landing page. A squeeze page with automated PDF delivery. A post-capture conversion page. A speakable booking URL for stage and podcast use.

The new justincross.com does one thing: turns a podcast mention into a booked call with this dialed-in funnel.

New website site from the ground up in under 30 days. Custom CMS for events, blog, trainers, partners, and vendors. Thirteen pages built and QA'd before launch with no placeholder content, no "we'll fix it later."

Monthly managed retainer means Rob and Esther never wait on a vendor again. Events go live in minutes. Blog posts are published on their schedule, on their platform, by their team. The site Big Tex Gym always deserved.

THE ARCHITECTURE

Create a whole brand and pipeline in under 30 days

Create a whole brand and pipeline in under 30 days

The Vision
Justin needed a system that worked from multiple angles at once. Organic traffic from people Googling his name. Vanity URLs he could say out loud on podcasts and stages. A lead magnet worth trading an email for. An email capture system that delivered it automatically. A post-capture page that converted warm leads into booked calls.
One URL wasn't enough. One page wasn't enough.
The Build
We designed the full architecture, built every page in a new Replit project, created the Media Playbook from scratch, wired up MailerLite for automated PDF delivery and nurture, set up the 301 redirect from the vanity domain, and ported justincross.com over via DNS when it was ready.
Every piece was built to hand off cleanly and run without him involved.

01 - THE AUTHORITY PAGE

01 - THE AUTHORITY PAGE

Built to close the deal before the call.

Built to close the deal before the call.

justincross.com is the first place someone lands when they Google his name after hearing him on a podcast. One long-scroll page. Real proof. No nav clutter. No secondary offers.

The only thing on the page is credibility and one CTA: book a call.

Most authority pages bury the lead. This one leads with it.

After the YouTube ban, this was personal. Big Tex Gym lost years of content to a platform decision they had zero control over.

Their new blog is fully CMS-driven: rich text body, category tags (Training, Nutrition, Recovery, Events), related articles logic, and author attribution so trainers can publish under their own name. Every article is an SEO asset Big Tex owns outright. No algorithm can take it away.

Email in. Playbook out. Nurture running.

Email in. Playbook out. Nurture running.

JustinCrossMedia.com is what Justin says on podcasts. People hear it, type it, and land on /playbook — the email capture page.

They enter their email and get the Media Playbook automatically. MailerLite fires the PDF and starts the nurture sequence.

The browser redirects them to the next step.

The vanity domain is the memorable handle. The function lives on the main domain.

Two speakable URLs. Two conversion paths. One destination: a booked call.

Most lead magnets drop the ball here.

Most lead magnets drop the ball here.

The person just gave you their email. They're warm. The /thank-you page exists to convert that momentum into a booked call before they close the tab.

One headline. Three proof points. One button. That's it.

No form. No friction. Calendly handles the qualifying.

Easy to say on stage. Easy to remember on the drive home.

Easy to say on stage. Easy to remember on the drive home.

justincross.com/call is built for podcast and stage use. Short enough to say out loud. Simple enough to type from memory. One button → Calendly. No form, no questions, no routing logic.

The 28-page Media Playbook we created with his copy direction is delivered automatically on opt-in — programmatically generated from HTML, clean page breaks, print-ready. No manual steps. No file to send. No follow-up to remember.

WHAT HE SAID

Play video

Just wanted to thank Kim from Inhaus. Amazing, amazing job helping put together a complete strategy for me on my website, but also the integration of the marketing tools and concepts that were really necessary to not just graphically create the right visual, but also to help with the flow of the prospect journey to actually get conversions on my website. There were also a lot of X-factors that she provided, like thoughts about SEO and the way that the architecture actually needed to work for me to get leads. I just like how she's focused and willing and able to help your business actually grow, as opposed to just creating a beautiful website. So stoked to work with her. I would highly recommend it. If you get a chance to work with Kim, she's the X-factor. She works quickly, she works efficiently, and she gets the job done. Can't say enough good about her. Thank you, Kim, so much. And I'm doing great thanks to you with my website. Thank you.
